Historic Photo Scanathon

SCAN-A-THON – Do you have interesting photos of grandpa’s business, ancestral homes, street scenes, interesting people, or other documentary images? Historians and students won’t find them in your attic, so the Indiana Album brings our collective history to the web — one photo at a time.

Bring along photographs, postcards, or documents from any era (up to the present) of Indiana houses, farms, businesses, schools, churches, bands, clubs, transportation, or interesting people (including portraits of prominent or pioneer residents, people participating in activities, or great snapshots of everyday life). If you’re not sure if your items fit the criteria, bring them along for us to decide.

Volunteers will make high resolution scans while you wait and later the records will be uploaded into our catalog found at www.indianaalbum.com. All documents will be carefully handled and immediately returned to the owners.

Led by Joan Hostetler of The Indiana Album.
