Susan Sutton will discuss Indianapolis and World War I. Not only is 2018 is the centennial of the last year of World War I, but Lew Wallace’s two grandsons fought in the war. One grandson, William Noble “Tee” Wallace, lost his life in France just a few weeks before the end of the war. This lecture will bring Hoosiers’ roles in the war into focus.
